Job Title: Media Sales Executive
Location: Chippenham outskirts
Salary: circa £22,000 - £25,000 p/a (doe) + Commission
Job Description: Our client offer a very unique approach to marketing solutions across traditional and electronic avenues serving a range of highly competitive e- services to their clients. Working closely with the sales director, this is a brand new role within the agency developed through strong growth. Our client works to enhance both marketing and sakes opportunities for their customers through innovative and clever digital e-marketing ideas. Their creative ideas and services maximise potential sales and brand awareness by offering their customers solutions that integrate within a current marketing and branding plan. Their clients operate on a national, global, and local basis and range from high street retailers, IT and Mobile Phone provides, FMCG and Charity. Working with the inhouse database and by conducting your own individual/company research and planning, you'll focus on calling decision makers to establish interest and key objectives. You'll have experience of developing and working towards a business development plan, and enjoy fact finding, contacting potential customers and building excellent and informative relationships with them. You'll work closely with the sales director to qualify leads and organise meetings for the Sales Director to attend. Depending on your experience and relationship with the customer you may also meet with them and attend company pitches. This is predominantly an office based position.
Personal Characteristics: Conscientious - working towards improved return on investment for your clients through strategic marketing campaigns Creative - Keen to develop and drive new ideas to generate revenue and improve ROI for clients Persistent - not lacking drive or ambition to chase sales through to completion
Experience: It will be a distinct advantage to have previous experience of the digital media world, or be technically minded. Sales experience, preferably within print advertising/media sales Experience with working against strict deadlines Ability to recognise and progress opportunities across a print and online portfolio
