Job Title: Senior Sales Executive - Maternity Contract for 6 - 9 months with the possibility of a permanent opportunity. March 09 Start

 

Location: Bath Centre

 

Salary: circa £20,000p/a (doe) + Commission

   

Job Description:Our client is an International Publishing house based in the centre of Bath.  They have a portfolio of magazines, host one of the fastest growing websites in the market and organise and host a programme of international events, working with some of the biggest brand names in the business.

 

The Position: This is the ideal position for a candidate who has proven experience within the media sales sector. Perhaps you have previous Senior Sales experience and a contract position would suit your current career status.

As the successful candidate you will be working across a portfolio of international B2B magazines and their associated products. You will be expected to grow revenues through the development of both new and existing business.

You will be able to deliver both print and online advertising solutions to clients across a portfolio of specialist titles.

 

Personal Characteristics:

Conscientious - working towards improved return on investment for your clients through strategic advertising campaigns

Creative - Keen to develop and drive new ideas to generate revenue and improve ROI for clients

Persistent - not lacking drive or ambition to chase sales through to completion

 

Experience:

Sales experience, preferably within print advertising/media sales

Experience with working agains strict deadlines

Ability to recognise and progess opportunities across a print and online portfolio

 

Responsibilities:

Manange and develop existing clients for leading B2B magazine

Negotiate long term commitment for advertising spend

Work with other departments (e.g editorial/production) to communicate and identify revenue opportunities and ensure the smooth co-ordination of magazine

Act as ambassador for the magazine and company

Be prepared to travel both nationally and internationally as and when the need arises
